What is a Pro-Am Jam? A Pro-Am Jam is a unique opportunity for local musicians in the community to jam alongside the professional musicians of the orchestra in a stress-free setting. Participating musicians will be sent the music in advance and asked to prepare it on their own time. On the day of the Jam, participants will rehearse and perform the selected music along with members of the KSO, led by music director Dina Gilbert.
How much experience do I need to participate? Participants should have at least three years of experience playing their instrument, and playing in an instrumental ensemble. However, there will be no auditions, as this is meant to be a fun, stress-free initiative.
