Brahms' Requiem Pro-Am Jam

Saturday, March 11, 2022
1:30 pm Rehearsal Begins
Sagebrush Theatre
1300 9 Ave

Calling all local musicians!
Following the success of September and Hallowe'en Jams we are presenting a German Requiem Pro-Am Jam, with selected movements of Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem.

What is a Pro-Am Jam?
A Pro-Am Jam is a unique opportunity for local musicians in the community to rehearse and perform alongside the professional musicians of the orchestra in a stress-free setting. Participating musicians will be sent the music in advance and asked to prepare it on their own time. On the day of the Jam, participants will rehearse the selected movements of Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem with Music Director Dina Gilbert, musicians from the KSO, and the KSO Chorus for about 2.5 hours.

**THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING FOR THIS PRO-AM JAM HAS NOW PASSED**

How much experience do I need to participate?
Participants should have at least three years of experience playing their instrument, and playing in an instrumental ensemble. However, there will be no auditions, as this is meant to be a fun, stress-free initiative.
