We will be performing the Canadian premiere of #1 New York Times bestselling author Dan Brown’s Wild Symphony on Sunday, November 5 at 3:30 pm in the Sagebrush Theatre as a Special Family Concert presentation. The man behind the best-selling publishing phenomenon The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown is known for exciting twists, turns, and surprises. His newest surprise, Wild Symphony, unveils the novelist as a lifelong musician and composer who was inspired at a young age by Peter and the Wolf, The Carnival of the Animals, and The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.

Featuring nearly two dozen musical portraits drawn from the animal kingdom, Wild Symphony springs to life on stage and is poised to become an instant children’s classic. From the joyous rhythms of “Bouncing Kangaroo” to the mysterious melodies of “Wondrous Whale” to the hair-raising harmonies of “Brilliant Bat,” this is a very wild symphony indeed, accompanying Brown’s mindful, humorous, and uniquely entertaining picture book.

“Music has always been a part of my life, and some of my earliest and most cherished memories include taking classical piano lessons from my mother, singing in choirs, and attending live orchestral concerts. My intent with Wild Symphony is to provide a fun, fresh opportunity for families, parents, children, and people of all ages to reconnect with the magical experience of classical music,” says Brown.

We invite you to join us in Sagebrush Theatre on Sunday, November 5 at 3:30 pm as we travel through the trees and across the seas with Maestro Mouse and his musical friends. You’ll meet a big blue whale and speedy cheetahs, tiny beetles, and graceful swans. Each has a special secret to share, narrated live with orchestra. This special family concert presentation is ideal for children aged 6-12.

Tickets are only $20 for Adults, $10 for Youth, and are available from Kamloops Live! Box Office by calling 250-374-5483 or going to kamloopslive.ca.
