Our next concert is our first Kelson Group Pops show of the Season. The Piano Men: The Music of Billy Joel and Elton John will see the Orchestra pay homage to two of the greatest Rock ‘n Roll pianists of our time. There are two performances of this multi-media rock spectacle: Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29, both at 7:30 pm in Sagebrush Theatre.

Returning to Kamloops to join the Orchestra is Jim Witter and his band, who helped KSO audiences get Feelin’ Groovy in a tribute to the music of Simon & Garfunkel back in 2019. Jim Witter has been entertaining crowds for over 30 years. Whether it is his original music or the many artists he pays tribute to, Jim’s versatility as an artist has allowed him the opportunity to reach out and hare his music and infectious personality with audiences of all ages across North America, the UK, Dubai, and the Netherlands.

Jim Witter came up with the concept for “The Piano Men” back in 2001. The show featuring the songs of Billy Joel and Elton John has turned out to be a huge hit, receiving rave reviews from critics all across North America. Featuring hits like Your Song, My Life, Candle in the Wind, Rocket Man, and Just The Way You Are, the Kamloops Symphony and Jim Witter will take you on a musical trip through the 70s, hit by hit.

Tickets are $49.99, $44.99 for Seniors, $10 for Youth (under 19), $15 for KSOundcheck members (age 19-34), and are available from Kamloops Live! Box Office by calling 250-374-5483 or going to kamloopslive.ca.
