Our perennially popular fundraiser, Barb’s Used Book & Music Sale, is moving to a new home for the spring sale – 444 Seymour Street, the old Value Village location downtown. The sale will be running from Saturday, April 6 to Saturday, April 20.

We accept donations of gently used books, sheet music, vinyl records, DVDs, and CDs throughout the year, which are kept in a donated storage space until sale time. These valuable donations are sold for as low as $2 per item, making it very affordable for shoppers to stock up for their summer reading, or find some great gifts.

This semi-annual sale has been wonderfully successful due to its highly organized donations of books and music, and our spectacular team of dedicated volunteers. All money raised by the sale goes towards the Kamloops Symphony’s operating expenses, which include everything from concert productions to educational programs.

Volunteers will be accepting donations in the former Value Village location at 444 Seymour Street beginning Thursday, April 4, and throughout the two-week sale April 6-20. Shoppers are encouraged to stop in a few times during the sale – as the donations keep coming in you never know what great find you’ll discover next!
