The Kamloops Symphony Orchestra (KSO) is delighted to announce that Music Director Dina Gilbert has signed a new four-year contract, extending her tenure as the KSO’s Music Director until June 2027. This development reaffirms Dina Gilbert's commitment to the orchestra and the vibrant musical community of Kamloops through the KSO’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2027.

Dina Gilbert, who has been at the helm of the KSO since 2017, has earned widespread international acclaim for her artistic leadership, innovative programming, and dedication to community engagement. Under her direction, the orchestra has seen remarkable growth and success, with increased audience attendance, critically acclaimed performances, and expanded outreach programs.

Reflecting on her renewed commitment, Dina Gilbert shared her enthusiasm for the continued collaboration with the KSO:
