**THE SALE HAS BEEN POSTPONED**
We will send out updates as soon as the new dates have been established.

Our much-loved semi-annual fundraiser, Barb’s Used Book & Music Sale, returns to 444 Seymour Street (the former Value Village location downtown) for the spring sale. This year, the spring sale is happening slightly earlier than usual, beginning Saturday, March 21 and concluding on Sunday, April 5.

Nearly overwhelming amounts of generous donations of gently used books, sheet music, vinyl records, DVDs, and CDs have been received, and most items will be available for only $2. This incredible price makes it very affordable for shoppers to stock up on summer reading or find great gifts for the readers in their lives. The semi-annual sale has been wonderfully successful due to its highly organized donations of books and music, and the our amazing team of dedicated volunteers. All money raised by the sale will go toward the Kamloops Symphony’s operating expenses, which include everything from concert productions to educational programs.

Volunteers will be gratefully accepting donations at the loading dock on the West side of the building (the parking lot beside The Plaza Hotel) starting Wednesday, March 18. Donors are asked to make contact with volunteers at the loading dock when dropping off donations. Please do not drop and run. The final day for donations will be Saturday, March 28. Volunteers will not accept dirty/tattered books, magazines, Readers Digest, encyclopedias, textbooks, VHS, or cassette tapes. Shoppers are encouraged to stop in a few times during the sale – as the donations continue to be processed and put out you never know what great find you’ll discover next!
