Our hugely popular used book and music sale is returning to Lansdowne Village, (450 Lansdowne Street), this spring. The sale will be running from Saturday, March 31 to Saturday, April 14, in the old Field’s location, in the corner beside Spitfire Computers and Kinetic Energy Health & Wellness, at the 5th Avenue entrance.
We accept donations of gently used books, sheet music, records, and CDs that are kept in a donated storage space until sale time. These valuable donations are sold for as low as $2 per item, making it very affordable for shoppers to stock up for their spring/summer reading, or find some great gift ideas.
The semi-annual sale has been wonderfully successful due to the incredibly generous donations of books and music we receive each year, and our amazing team of dedicated volunteers. All money raised by the sale goes towards the Kamloops Symphony’s operating expenses, which include everything from concert productions to renting our office and music school space.
KSO volunteers will be accepting donations at the mall beginning Wednesday, March 28, and throughout the two-week sale March 31 - April 14. Shoppers are encouraged to stop in a few times during the sale – as the donations keep coming in you never know what great find you’ll discover next!
The sale will be open the following hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Friday: 9:30 am - 7:30 pm
- Saturday: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Sunday: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Closed Easter Sunday)
