Prepare to be transported into the psychedelic musical world of the 1970s as we team up with Jeans ’n Classics to present An Evening of Pink Floyd. This sensational concert promises to be an unforgettable experience, offering highlights from the much-loved album “The Wall”, plus the iconic “Dark Side of the Moon” in its entirety, presented with a symphonic twist. Jeans ‘n Classics has been collaborating with orchestras across North America for almost 30 years, merging world-class rock musicians with symphony orchestras and transforming the landscape of orchestral performances. Jeans ‘n Classics captures the essence of both legendary and new rock and pop albums and artists, enhanced by their lush orchestral arrangements.

Leading the KSO for this concert is guest conductor Jaelem Bhate. Jaelem is a conductor and composer from Vancouver who was named to CBC’s hot 30 under 30 classical musicians in 2019. He is the founder and Music Director of Symphony 21, a new professional orchestra in Vancouver, along with directing the Vancouver Brass Collective. He has also released several albums as a composer and performing musician, including two jazz orchestra albums.

An Evening of Pink Floyd is a unique opportunity to witness an extraordinary fusion of musical genres.
